Example of an Empower loan:

A user who accepts a loan of $1,000 and chooses a term of 61 days, on the payment date must make a single payment for a total of $1,174.00. The payment includes $1,000 of the loan principal, a fixed fee of $150 (15% of the loan principal) plus 16% VAT. The CAT of the loan without VAT is 128%. We do not charge any interest in addition to the aforementioned fees.

Total payment breakdown:

$1,000 (loan principal) + $150 ($1,000 * 15% fixed fee) + $24 ($150 fee * 16% VAT) = $1,174.00

Fixed origination fee: 15% of the loan amount plus VAT

Fixed annual default interest rate: 360% plus VAT

Late payment fee: 10% of the loan amount plus VAT

Minimum payment period: 61 days
